    Non M struts on M?

Non M struts on M? Usually the google search i found is for m3 installing to non m.

i need a set of front struts and a buddy has a brand new konis for the fronts for cheap but its for non m cars, will it work? Im doing coilovers but next year after my 6 speed swap is done.

    thanks all.

It will work fine. If you use the non-M strut mounts you’ll lose some caster and gain negative camber.

Works great for a track car. Probably not so great for street only.

Car is a daily driver and no track, so negative camber is worse and will eat tires even after alignment?

Camber is adjustable. Get some taken out.

This is the exact same shocks struts im getting for but $400 new as its from a friend deal. Im assuming the rears are identical since no adjustments made on the rears?

ill pull the trigger then, thanks all..

it will be paired with a lowering springs eibach

Do i need to buy an adjustable camber plates? Or stock m3 works just alignment?

Lowering the car ads more negative camber. Stock adjustment is limited.
Depending on your mileage you may want to change the shock mounts. May as well get adjustables...

Use M3 strut mounts if you want to align the car to factory spec.

I have a range of -3 to -5.5 degrees of negative camber with my non-M Vorshlag plates. That’s about an extra 1.5 to 2 degrees of negative camber.

I would call Bilstein and pick their brains before pulling the trigger.

It is my understanding that The non m strut shafts need some machining done in order to accomodate the M strut mounts.
                    If using non M strut mounts, then it's p n p.
Do some more research before you pull the trigger.
